Cheesy Garlic Baked Chicken

Ingredients
- 3 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, combine the grated parmesan and cheddar cheese.
- In another bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with garlic powder.
- Mince the garlic cloves and set aside.
- In a small bowl, melt the butter.
- Add the minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to the melted butter.
- Dip each chicken breast into the melted butter mixture, ensuring it's well coated.
- Roll the butter-coated chicken breasts in the cheese mixture.
- Press the breadcrumbs onto the chicken breasts to coat evenly.
- Place the chicken breasts on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle any remaining butter mixture over the chicken.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the topping is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
